Random selection feels fair only when the list, settings, and process are easy to understand. This guide explains a practical approach you can reuse.

Start with clear rules

Publish the eligibility rules, entry deadline, number of winners, and prize details before collecting names. Clear rules reduce confusion and make the draw easier to defend.

  • Use one name per line
  • Remove duplicate or invalid entries
  • State whether previous winners can win again

Prepare and verify the entry list

Import a CSV or paste names directly into PickLuxe. Review the final count and keep a copy of the source list before spinning.

Use a transparent drawing process

Present the wheel on screen, show the number of eligible entries, and spin only after the audience can see that the list is ready. PickLuxe selects the winner first with browser cryptography, then animates the wheel to the chosen segment.

Document the result

Save the winner history, export the result, and record the date and time. For public giveaways, a screen recording can provide an additional audit trail.

Try it in PickLuxe

Create a wheel, review the entries, and test the workflow before your real drawing.
